Purpose:
|
to evaluate accomodative amplitude{AA} in doninat and nondoninat eyes of normal young population
|
|
Methods:
|
100 cases were entered in an observational cross-sectional study.patients aged 19-41 years were refered to Khatam eye hospital.exclusion criteria were history of any ocular diseses or ocular surgery before.All measurements wew done by the same optometer.
|

Results:
|
200 eyes of 100 cases (56 female,67.9%)with mean age of 28.01±4.97 years were enrolled in this study. the average AA in two groups were different but not statistically significant.
|

Conclusion:
|
There is no significant difference in AA in dominant and nondominant eyes and this factor may not play a role in eye dominancy.
