331 patients (age range of 1-60 month) were referred to our Hospital by suspected diagnosis of retinoblastoma. The rate of misdiagnosis was 42% that consisted of Coats disease (36), PHPV or persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous (31), Familial Exudative Vitreoretinopathy (FEVR )(14), chorioretinal coloboma (10), self controlled retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) (10), non attachment of retina (6), combined hamartoma (5), TORCH (5), Astrocytoma (4), Congenital cataract (2), Organized vitreous hemorrhage (2), Acute lymphocytic leukemia (1), Asteroid hyalosis (1), Astrocytic hamartoma (1), Congenital retinal fold (1), Medoloepithelioma (1), Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (1), Incontinentia pigmenti (1), Myelinated retinal nerve fiber layers (1), Morning glorry syndrome (1), Norrie's disease (1), Retinocytoma (1), Toxocariasis (1), Prepthysic eye (1).
