Purpose:
|
to evaluate the effects of intravitreal bevacizumab on LGB electrical activity in rats eyes.
|
|
Methods:
|
10 male Wister rats (280-320 gr) were enrolled in this study and divided in 2 groups. Electrical activity of LGB was recorded via implantation of electrode in LGB in all rats. First group received 2µl(0.05mg)IVB and second group received 2µl intravitreal salin.the electrical activity of LGB were compared between two groups before injection and 7 days and 30 days after injection.

Results:

the difference of activity of LGB of 2 groups wasn´t statically significant (p<0.05).
|

Conclusion:
|
in this study showed that intravitreal bevacizumab had no effect on electrical activity of LGB in rat’s eyes.
