IrSOPRS members were contacted and invited to participate in the survey. Specific questionnaire were mailed to current IrSOPRS members and asked them to respond and return it. The questionnaire consisted of three sections: demographics, pre-operative evaluations, surgical preferences. Data were extracted anonymously from the filled questionnaires and analyzed.

Forty-four oculaoplastic surgeons replied. Response rate was 64.7% of the respondents 15 (34.1%) and 13 (29.5) had been in practice in less than 5 years and more than 20 years respectively. 22.7% performed preoperative phenylephrine test and 52.2% levator function assessment. 11.3% performed more than 25 ptosis surgery in the last year. 25.1% performed more than 10 frontalis sling per year. 73.6% used silicone and 23.6% used fascia lata and 22.7% used exclusively silicone material.
