Colleagues who are willing to submit abstracts to the 23rd congress should take the following points into consideration:
1. Abstracts could be submitted from 21 Apr 2013 to 06 Aug 2013
2. Abstracts would only be submitted through www.irso.org and abstracts sent through other methods such as post, email, or fax will not be accepted. Author has to register in the congress before submission of abstracts.
3. The following points should be taken account of when filling in the abstracts form:
- The abstracts form should be filled in English.
- The title should be brief and descriptive of the text of the paper.
- Names of all authors including the presenter should be mentioned in the “authors” as well as “presenting author” sections.
- Type of presentations (oral, poster) should be mentioned in “Presentation Type” section.
- The “Subject” section should indicate the main subject of the paper.
- The abstract should be typed in the related form and should not be longer than 200 words.
- The abstract should enjoy the usual structure of scientific papers (including objective, method, findings and conclusion).
- Apart from standard abbreviations, abbreviations mentioned for the first time in the paper should be explained in full between parentheses.
- For later editing, you may access the text of the paper by entering your Medical Council and membership numbers within the specified period of time.
4.Since abstracts will be published in the original form, they should be written according to correct writing style and should be checked for dictation errors.
5.There is no limitation in terms of number for abstracts submitted by every participant.
6. The participants will be notified about receipt of the abstracts through their emails.
7. Judgment result from the scientific board of congress about submitted papers or films will be announced by email to senders until the 29 Aug 2013.
Registration is mandatory for participants sending abstracts and the presenting authors should have registered for the congress before abstracts submission.
