Purpose:
To report different manifestations of recurrent lattice corneal dystrophy (LCD) in two penetrating keratoplasty (PKP) grafts of a patient.
Methods:
Case Report
Results:
A 65-year-old man diagnosed with LCD underwent PKP in both eyes which were performed twice in the right eye 18 and 2 years and once in the left eye 16 years before the recent presentation. He complained of decreased visual acuity in both eyes. Best-corrected visual acuity was 2.5 m counting finger in the right eye and 20/100 in the left eye. Follow-up examinations revealed the recurrence of dystrophy characterized by subepithelial and anterior stromal haziness in both grafts and branching stromal lattice figures in the left.
Conclusion:
Recurrent LCD can have different manifestations in PKP grafts, depending on the follow-up period.
